Academic Integrity
Plagiarism Policy
The editorial board categorically condemns any manifestations of plagiarism in scientific articles. The authors bear sole responsibility for the accuracy of the information in the articles, including the exactness of titles, names, and citations.
- All manuscripts submitted to the editorial board undergo a uniqueness check by the executive editor using the Unicheck software (or similar plagiarism detection tools) during the initial review stage.
- If plagiarism is detected, the manuscript is unconditionally rejected and is not allowed for further peer review.
- The authors of the submitted articles bear full responsibility for the lawful use of borrowed materials in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine (in particular, the Law of Ukraine "On Copyright and Related Rights").
Policy on the Use of AI and AI-Assisted Technologies
The editorial board acknowledges the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and Large Language Models (LLMs, e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, etc.). To ensure transparency and uphold ethical standards, we have established the following rules:
- AI cannot be an author: No AI tools or LLMs may be listed as authors or co-authors of a manuscript, as they cannot take legal and ethical responsibility for the content of the work.
- Acceptable use: The use of AI is permitted solely for the purpose of improving language proficiency, readability, translation, or text formatting (e.g., tools like Grammarly, DeepL).
- Unacceptable use: It is strictly prohibited to use AI to generate scientific data, research results, figures, graphs, or to create fake citations and reference lists. Such actions are considered academic misconduct and will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript.
- Disclosure requirements: If authors use AI tools to assist in writing the manuscript (beyond basic grammar checking), they must explicitly disclose this in the "Methodology" or "Acknowledgements" section. Authors must specify the name of the tool, its version, and the exact purpose of its application.
- Responsibility: Authors bear full personal responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and absence of plagiarism in any AI-generated content included in the manuscript.
