Abstract

The article examines the trends in the development of vocational and technological education in Ukraine in comparison with the EU countries. It is noted that Ukrainian educational policy has formed a scientific-technological society, while in the EU countries the ideological basis of education since the 1950s has been the principle of democracy and humanism. It is proposed to introduce a cultural approach to the content of training teachers of vocational education (technology), which covers the integrity of the cultural experience of humanity (ethical, religious, technical, etc.). Attention is focused on the need for interdisciplinary training and integration of knowledge in design and ergonomics, which should fill the missing link in interdisciplinary studies of man about work and help in the formation of a humanistic personality.
