The article is dedicated to analyzing the development of motivation for professional growth among future musical instrument instructors in specialized art education institutions. It highlights the key role of motivation in shaping professional competencies and ensuring the effectiveness of pedagogical activities. The authors emphasize motivation as a driving force that fosters personal and professional self-improvement, overcoming challenges, and achieving set goals in professional training. The paper provides an analysis of the main types of motivation characteristic of future musical instrument instructors, including motivation related to learning activities, social factors, personal aspirations for self-realization, and negative motivation driven by the avoidance of undesirable outcomes. The authors stress the importance of integrating these types of motivation to achieve a high level of professional competence. Particular attention is paid to educational programs that develop students' competencies in areas such as performance skills, analytical activities, innovative teaching methods, and self-development. Practical teaching methodologies are described, including work in small groups, individual lessons, the use of modern information and communication technologies, and interactive approaches. The role of educational disciplines focused on developing performance culture, technical skills, interpretative abilities, and musicological competencies is also examined. In conclusion, it is emphasized that motivation is a key factor in shaping a professionally oriented, creative specialist capable of continuous self-improvement and adaptation to changes in the professional environment. The authors outline the main directions for teachers to enhance student motivation, including the activation of various motivating factors, increasing their significance, and leveraging situational motivational elements.References
