Correction, Complaints Handling and Retraction

Correction

The journal "Mathematics, Informatics, Physics: Science and Education" publishes correction notices to document and correct significant errors that significantly affect the content or understanding of the submitted work (e.g., an error in the presentation or analysis of data), or when the error affects the metadata of the publication (e.g., misspelling of the author's name). If the author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her article after it has been officially published online, he/she should notify the editorial board and, if deemed necessary, a correction will be published. Corrections will also be added to the PDF version of the article.

Complaints handling

In cases of violation of academic integrity and publication ethics, authors, readers and reviewers have the right to contact the management of the Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi State Pedagogical University, which is the Founder of the journal. Complaints and appeals are considered within one month of receipt. The results of their consideration are provided to the applicant in writing. Anonymous complaints and appeals are not considered.

Retraction policy

The policy of retraction (retraction) of published articles is based on the provisions of the recommendations and standards of international organizations, primarily the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (COPE's Retraction guidelines).

Retraction applies to articles that have serious shortcomings. Articles can be retracted for several reasons. These may include errors reported by the authors, as well as issues such as fabrication of results, duplication of publications, plagiarism or self-plagiarism with a high degree of repetition of research results and text already published in other publications. The retraction notice will clearly state the reason for the retraction. The retraction notice will be linked to the retracted article, and the article will be marked as retracted.
