Abstract

The paper reveals the role of Ukrainian folk songs in shaping the national and patriotic consciousness of future music teachers. It defines the essence and specificity of vocal and methodological approaches to the use of song folklore in the professional training of music teachers. It is proven that studying folk songs arranged by Ukrainian composers not only contributes to the development of academic vocal technique, but also fosters patriotic feelings. Vocal-methodological approaches to working with folk songs as a means of patriotic education are substantiated.
