Review of information and appeals

The editorial board considers reports and complaints regarding possible violations of academic integrity and publication ethics in accordance with generally accepted international standards of scientific communication and the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Appeals or complaints may be submitted by authors, reviewers, readers, or other interested parties to the editorial board of the journal by email (didmath@vspu.edu.ua), indicating the nature of the violation and, if possible, supporting materials.

The editorial board conducts a preliminary review of the appeal within 5 working days, after which it may initiate an additional review, request explanations from authors or reviewers, and involve experts. If necessary, the editorial board requests explanations and materials from the authors and may involve independent experts. The approximate review period is up to 30 calendar days (in complex cases, it may be extended by up to 20 calendar days with notification of the parties).

If a violation is confirmed, the editorial board takes appropriate measures, including rejecting the manuscript, retracting the published article, publishing a correction or a notice of concern.

The editorial board guarantees objective, confidential, and impartial consideration of all appeals. Authors have the right to appeal the editorial decision, which is considered by the editorial board of the journal.
