Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
- The scientific article should include:
UDC (printed at the top left in normal font);
at 1 interval – the title of the article in bold letters;
at 1 interval, the name and surname of the author(s) in bold letters;
in the following lines in normal font: the educational institution or research institution where the author works; city, country; e-mail address; ORCID iD.
at 1 interval symmetrically to the text in regular – abstract (1600-1800 characters) and keywords in Ukrainian (or the language of the article) (4-7 words in alphabetical order);
- all information in English (title of the article; given name and family name of the author(s); educational institution or research institution where the author works; city, country; e-mail; ORCID iD; abstract (1600-1800 characters) and keywords (4-7 words in alphabetical order), double-spaced;
at 2 intervals – the main text (the following structural elements must be bolded in the text of the article);
at the end of the article, at 2 intervals, symmetrically to the text, the heading "List of references", the list is formed in a column, in alphabetical order;
at 2 intervals References;
at 1 interval, information about the authors in Ukrainian and English. After the heading "Authors", the following information is indicated for each author in normal font: surname, name and patronymic; academic degree and academic title (if not available, position); educational institution or research institution where the author works; e-mail address; ORCID iD. Information about the authors is given in English in 1 interval "Authors";
at the end of the text after the heading "Conflict of interest" the authors declare the absence of a conflict of interest;
abstracts are submitted as structured abstracts containing the following highlighted elements: purpose of the work, methodology, scientific novelty, conclusions.
The volume of the article is 12-24 pages (20-40 thousand characters).
A4 page format; all margins 2 cm; Times New Roman font, font size 14 pt, Normal style; line spacing 1.5; paragraph indentation 1 cm (in automatic mode); text should be printed without hyphenation, aligned to the width of the sheet.
Structural elements in the text of the article should be labeled as follows:
Problem statement.
Analysis of sources and recent research.
Identification of previously unresolved parts of the general problem.
The purpose of the article.
Presentation of the main material.
Conclusions.
Obligatory distinction between dashes (–) and hyphens (-), use of quotation marks in the following format - "" ("text"); abbreviations such as etc., etc., initials with surnames (e.g., I. Petrenko), page references (p. 34), names of settlements (Kyiv), years - years.
Each abbreviation (or acronym) should be entered in brackets after the first mention of the corresponding full phrase and only then can it be used.
Diagrams, graphs, charts, formulas, and tables are numbered; figures and photos are in TIF or JPG format; tables are created in the table editor (menu item "Table"). The format of tables is book format only; formulas should be typed using the Equation Editor. All tables and figures should be referenced in the text of the article; all tables should have titles (above the table, in a separate paragraph of the text, indented, bold, centered); figures should be accompanied by captions (below the figure, in a separate paragraph, bold, centered, indented; the caption should not be an element of the figure); number the figures in the order of references in the text.
References to the literature in the text are made in APA (7th ed.) (http://www.apastyle.org/) (Petrenko, 2024, p. 11). References to several sources at the same time are given as follows: (Petrenko, 2024, p. 11; Ukrainets, 2023, p. 4).
The list of references and References should be submitted in accordance with the requirements of APA (7th ed.) (http://www.bibme.org/citation-guide/apa/) (font size - 14, 1.5 intervals).
References should include the DOI (Digital Object Identifier), if applicable. The DOI should be an active URL inserted at the end of the link in the list of references. If you are not sure whether a given source has a DOI or whether a DOI is available for a reference, you can search by title, author name, etc. at https://search.crossref.org/.
In References, the titles of works in languages where non-Latinized alphabets are used should be translated into English and placed in square brackets; the titles of sources should be transliterated, and the original language should be indicated in square brackets at the end.
