The article considers the importance of the art of time management as an effective tool in the work of the head of an educational institution. Modern strategies for planning, delegation and prioritization of tasks are analyzed, which help managers to use working time rationally. According to the authors, an important prerequisite for the effective operation of an educational institution is the use of time management tools by its head and taking into account the specifics of the work performed. The essence of the concept of «time management» as a certain system of actions for effective time planning is determined. The importance of optimizing the use of time to complete tasks while simultaneously reducing stress among employees is described. The main studies of scientists on time management as one of the necessary tools for increasing efficiency in work and everyday life are analyzed. Based on the analysis of scientific works, the basic principles of time management (planning, prioritization, structuring) are determined, three personality skills are described that will help in managing one's own time (awareness, organization, flexibility and adaptability) and basic tips for mastering time management are indicated. Examples of the most effective time management techniques are given: Eisenhower Matrix or «Urgent and Important Tasks Matrix», Pomodoro Method, Pareto Principle. The article identifies the benefits of mastery in time management for the head and employees of an educational institution: the ability to correctly formulate one's own goals and objectives; the ability to combine work and rest, which has a positive effect on health and well-being; the ability to allocate time for the development of professional skills and self-improvement. The use of effective time management strategies will allow you to achieve the desired results, reduce stress levels and maintain harmony between professional and personal life. It is the integration of time management technologies into the work of a modern manager that allows you to achieve effective results not only in your own professional activities, but also in the educational process of the institution.References
