The article is devoted to the study of the philosophy of art and the pedagogical dimension of the work of Oleksandr Stepanovych Shinin, outlining the role, place and significance of his art in the socio-cultural space of the modern Podolsk region. The creative and artistic and educational activities of the artist, which are an important factor in the activation and development of the artistic life of the region, are analyzed. The aim of the work is to reveal the essence of O. Shinin's philosophical views on art, the characteristics of the stages of his creativity and pedagogical activity. The methodological basis of the study is made up of culturological and axiological approaches, which allow us to consider the artist's painting in the expanded context of modern Ukrainian artistic culture, as well as the biographical method, thanks to which the artist's contribution to the process of forming higher artistic education in the Podolsk region is outlined. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the comprehensive understanding of the specifics of the creative output and the main stages of professional development of O. Shinin, who formed an original concept and philosophy of artistic worldview, based on both personal experience and general laws and tasks of art. It is proven that the philosophical worldview of the artist-teacher determines the nature of his artistic and educational activity, within which deep artistic meanings are combined with pedagogical practice. It is concluded that the philosophy of art of O. Shinin is manifested in the diversity of themes, ideas, figurative solutions and form-making techniques that form an individual author's style and embody philosophical reflections on the values of human existence. His inclination to creative searches, the destruction of established stereotypes and the rejection of dogmatic approaches is combined with the preservation of his own artistic identity and the desire to comprehend the sacred essence of art. Analysis of the artist's creative heritage shows that the sources of his inspiration are internal spiritual energy, humanistic orientation, sincerity and unconditional devotion to art.References
