Анотація
У статті наголошено на важливості дослідження висвітлення штучного інтелекту (ШІ) в новинах, оскільки репрезентація в медіа впливає на його сприйняття населенням і регуляцію на законодавчому рівні; окреслено основні тенденції й наративи репрезентації ШІ в закордонних медіа; з’ясовано, що ця тема недостатньо розроблена в лінгвістиці. Щоб визначити, як часто та як саме в заголовках українських медіа (ТСН, Українська правда, УНІАН) у серпні 2024 – липні 2025 легітимують і делегітимують ШІ, застосовано критичний дискурс-аналіз Т. ван Левена. Аналіз дав змогу встановити, що 92 заголовки містять дискурсивні стратегії легітимації, 122 заголовки – стратегії делегітимації ШІ. З’ясовано, які дискурсивні тактики найчастіше використовують для легітимації, а якими послуговуються для делегітимації ШІ в новинах. Також визначено тенденції медіа репрезентувати ШІ як суб’єкта дії, особливо щодо вчинків, що мають негативні наслідки, та персоніфікувати ШІ, застосовуючи для цього лексику, яку зазвичай використовують щодо істот.
