Abstract

Topicality. The relevance of the study is due to the need to improve the theoretical training of athletes in the conditions of digitalization of sports education and the widespread introduction of interactive technologies into the educational and training process. Despite the rapid development of information and communication technologies, the issue of their effective use in the theoretical training of athletes at the stage of specialized basic training remains insufficiently researched. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally verify the effectiveness of using interactive technologies in the process of theoretical training of athletes at the stage of specialized basic training. Material and methods of the research. The study involved 60 athletes aged 14-16 years old who are engaged in acrobatics, rowing and cycling and 15 coaches of children's and youth sports schools and sports clubs. To achieve the goal, the analysis and generalization of scientific literature, questionnaires of athletes and coaches, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, author's test of theoretical preparedness, the Sport Motivation Scale II (SMS-II) sports motivation assessment scale and methods of mathematical statistics were used. During the pedagogical experiment, multimedia presentations, interactive online tests, digital platforms, QR quests, video analysis, problem-based learning and elements of gamification were used in the experimental group. Results of the research. It was established that the use of interactive technologies has a positive effect on the level of theoretical preparedness of athletes, contributes to the increase of their educational motivation, cognitive activity and interest in studying theoretical material. According to the results of the pedagogical experiment, athletes of the experimental group demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in the indicators of theoretical knowledge and internal motivation compared to the control group (p < 0.05). It was found that the use of interactive forms of learning ensures a more active involvement of athletes in the educational process, promotes the development of analytical thinking, independence and the ability to apply acquired knowledge in training and competitive activities. Conclusions. The effectiveness of the use of interactive technologies as one of the promising areas of modernization of theoretical training of athletes at the stage of specialized basic training has been proven. The results obtained can be used when improving the educational and methodological support of sports training, developing theoretical training programs for athletes of various qualifications and introducing modern digital technologies into the practice of coaches.
