Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is regulated by a set of normative and advisory documents. These include:

The Law of Ukraine “On Copyright and Related Rights” (Article 33);
The European Union Artificial Intelligence Act (EU Artificial Intelligence Act);
UNESCO Recommendations;
White Paper on AI Regulation in Ukraine: Vision of the Ministry of Digital Transformation. Consultation Version (2024);

Use of AI by Authors

Authors may use AI tools only as supportive instruments, for example for:

  • language editing and stylistic improvement;

  • grammar checking and readability enhancement;

  • assistance with structuring the manuscript.

AI tools must not be listed as authors or co-authors and must not replace scholarly analysis, interpretation of results, or the formulation of conclusions.

Authors bear full responsibility for:

  • the originality, accuracy, and scientific quality of the submitted work;

  • compliance with ethical standards and copyright requirements;

  • the correctness of all statements, data, and references, regardless of AI use.

Upon request, authors may be required to disclose the use of AI tools during manuscript preparation.

Use of AI by the Editorial Office

The editorial team may use AI tools solely for technical or supportive purposes (e.g., preliminary language checks or detection of potential ethical issues), but not for making final editorial or publication decisions.

The journal follows established principles of publication ethics and regularly reviews its AI policy in line with international recommendations and technological developments.
