Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

We invite you to submit your article to the online academic journal
“Innovations in Pre-school and Primary Education”,
which is included in the List of Ukrainian Academic Journals (Category B)
(Order No. 349 of 24 February 2025)
of the Mykhailo Kotsyubynskyi Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University
Frequency of publication: twice a year. Manuscripts are accepted on an ongoing basis until 1 April and 1 October each year.
Subject areas: A2 – Pre-school Education, A3 – Primary Education, A5 – Professional Education.
Main sections:
- ØUkrainian pre-school education: combining domestic experience with international innovations.
- ØContemporary educational practices in primary schools.
- ØInnovative approaches to training specialists in pre-school and primary education.
Language of the manuscript: Ukrainian, English. A maximum of three authors is permitted per article.
The editorial board assigns an international digital identifier DOI.
It is not recommended to use academic works by authors from the occupying country (citing in the text and including in bibliographies those sources published on the territory of russia and belarus).
ARTICLE STRUCTURE:
- UDC code. The following line contains the DOI (provided by the journal’s editorial board). All letters must be in uppercase (Times New Roman, bold, left-aligned).
- The title of the article (centred, bold, capital letters) may contain up to 10 words without abbreviations; it should reveal the essence of the problem and be of interest to a wide audience of scholars.
- The first name and surname of the author(s) of the article (no more than three persons), in lowercase letters except for the first letter, bold, centred.
- Academic degree, academic title (if applicable), position with indication of department / laboratory / division (centred).
- Place of employment (name of the educational institution in the nominative case), centred.
- City, country, centred.
- Personal digital identifier (ORCID ID), centred.
- Email address, centred.
- Abstract in the language of the article (1,800 characters).
- Keywords: 4–6 words.
- On the next line – the title of the article (centred, bold, capital letters), information about the authors: first name and surname of the author(s) – bold, academic degree and academic title, position with department, place of work/study, ORCID code, author’s email address, extended (1800 characters) abstract and keywords in English (relevance, aim, methods and results of the study). The English translation must be accurate. If the article is written in English or Polish, this section is to be in Ukrainian.
- 12. A line break – the main text of the article.
- 13. List of references / References.
The following are the mandatory structural elements of an article:
- Introduction.
- Analysis of research and publications.
- Purpose of the article.
- Presentation of the main material.
- Conclusions.
The text of the article must be carefully proofread and checked. Articles are published in the author’s version, therefore the authors of the publications bear responsibility for any errors or inaccuracies.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The article must be at least 12 pages long
- Font: Times New Roman, size 14.
- Line spacing: 1.5; paragraph indentation: 1 cm. All margins: 2 cm.
- The list of references is provided at the end of the article (font size – 14, line spacing 1.5).
BIBLIOGRAPHIC DESCRIPTION OF REFERENCES:
The list of references is placed after the text of the article in alphabetical order; it is printed with 1.5 line spacing, 14-point Times New Roman font, and formatted in accordance with the requirements of the national standard DSTU 8302:2015. ‘Bibliographic references. General provisions and rules for compilation’.
References are formatted in accordance with the international bibliographic standard APA (American Psychological Association (APA) Style). In the References section, sources written in a language using the Cyrillic alphabet must be listed in transliterated form with an English translation.
References to sources in the text are given in square brackets – []. For example, [2], [5, pp. 33–34].
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
To submit an article for publication, please email the following materials (files):
- The article, formatted in accordance with the specified requirements, with a content originality of at least 80%.
- Information about the author: surname, first name, patronymic; academic degree, academic title, position, place of work, email address and contact telephone number.
- A scanned review-recommendation from the academic supervisor, certified by the seal of the institution where they work (for assistants and researchers who do not hold an academic degree).
