Abstract

The article is anaiyzed monograph is devoted to the study of the main aspects of the daily life of the urban population of Right-Bank Ukraine in the conditions of the World War I. On the basis of wide involvement of the initial base, a comprehensive analysis of the daily life of the urban population of the Right-bank Ukraine was carried out, the course of which was caused by the First World War. The peculiarities of towns development of Right-bank Ukraine and daily life of their inhabitants on the eve of the World War I taking into consideration the geographic location specialties, economic and worldview modernization processes and military preparations of the Russian empire for war with the States of the Triple Alliance are elucidated.

The influence or the World War I on the consciousness of Right bank town population in the way of investigation of social mood evolution of townspeople during 1914–1917 and the revealing of the most spreading show of abnormal behavior in town social status, the character of penetration consequence of foreign and Russian military men, refugees and also the national problem worsening in the region in the context of the tsarist repressive policy against the Austro-German and Jewish population are elucidated in detail in the dissertation.

A great attention is paged to the ability of Right-bank townspeople to fulfill their physical and spirit needs in the way of analysis of product state in towns and the change of life level of their inhabitants, the influence on town daily life of antialcohol company and leisure-time sphere.

The problems of housing and communal sphere and town infrastructure of the Right-bank are examined in detail in the investigation. They are noted to be caused by economical, mobilized, migration, military and cultural-moral factors, cleary showing the total influence of the World War I on the system of vital activity security of the Right-bank Ukraine towns.
