Abstract

The article presents the results of a theoretical analysis of the features of psychological support for parents who have a child with a speech disorder. The main novelty of this article is a theoretical analysis of the basic positions of studying psychological support for parents who have a child with a speech disorder. The relevance of the problem is due to the need to study in more detail various aspects of psychological support for parents who have a child with a speech disorder, since no colossal research has been conducted in Ukraine over the past few years. The materials of the article can be used in educational institutions to train future specialists. Special attention is paid to the stages of interaction with parents, difficulties that arise in the process of work and sources of resources. It is proved that the problem of psychological support for parents who have a child with a speech disorder is quite modern in Ukraine. And, of course, there is a need for new research and requires a deeper analysis of the features of psychological support at the current level of development of Ukrainian science. The article analyzes and describes various interpretations of the definition of the concept of psychological support in science. It is noted that the basis of psychological support is communication based on mutual trust. It also emphasizes the extreme importance of joint work of specialists with parents whose children have speech pathology, as well as their psychological support. It describes important aspects of work with parents, which are implemented through five main stages of cooperation. In the article, the author notes strategic tasks in working with parents, which consist in reducing the manifestations of parental trauma and improving relationships in the family. The importance of the social functioning of parents is noted, especially increasing their interest and competence in the education, upbringing and development of the child. A general analysis of the chronology of psychological and pedagogical work with parents, which consists of six stages, is considered. The conducted analysis of scientific literature indicates that all parents of children with speech disorders have difficulties in their upbringing and education. Various factors and circumstances significantly affect the worldview of parents. The author notes that the key result and outcome of psychological support for parents is adaptability. Depending on the issues and situation, the specialist must also correct the mental states of parents in order to prevent various anxiety states and the use of psychological defense mechanisms. The article also contains a description of the forms of work of a specialist with parents. The relevance of the use of cloud technologies and artificial intelligence in working with parents who have a child with a speech disorder is noted.
