Abstract
The article reviews the monograph of Vitalii Telvak and Vasyl Pedych, devoted to the formation and activity of the Lviv historical school of Mykhailo Hrushevsky. The heuristic potential of the sources involved by the authors is analyzed. The high degree of innovation of the research is shown, in which, thanks to the clear criteria developed by the authors, the structure and personnel of the school were reconstructed, the peculiarities of scientific and personal communication were highlighted, and a number of historiographical myths were refuted.
