Journal Status: The scientific journal is included in the List of Scientific Professional Periodicals of Ukraine (Category "B") in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 928 dated June 11, 2026.

Scientific Journal "Public Administration and Law: History, Theory, Practice" is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal founded in 2021.

Aim and Tasks

The aim of the journal is to create an open scientific space for professional communication between theoretical researchers and practitioners, as well as to publish the latest research results in the fields of public administration, governance, and law.

The main tasks of the journal:

  • To publish high-quality original scientific articles highlighting current issues in the theory and practice of public administration and law.
  • To promote the development and popularization of interdisciplinary research at the intersection of public administration and jurisprudence.
  • To provide free and open access to scientific information to support societal progress and the integration of Ukrainian science into the global information space.

Aims and Scope

The journal serves as a platform for scientific communication and is dedicated to publishing research results in the following areas:

  • Public Administration and Governance: theory and practice of governance; state administration and local self-government; public policy; strategic management; human resource management; digital transformation and e-governance; regional and local development; performance evaluation of public authorities.
  • Law in Public Administration and Public Authorities' Activity: legal support for the operation of public authorities; regulatory and legal framework of public administration; legal mechanisms for public policy implementation; anti-corruption legislation; legal regulation of civil service; European standards of public administration and implementation of EU law; protection of human rights and freedoms.
  • Management: theory and methodology of management; strategic management; organizational development; human resource management; leadership; crisis, project, operational, and innovation management; change management; quality management; digital and international management; corporate governance; sustainable organizational development.
  • Interdisciplinary Studies: legal foundations of public administration; legal and regulatory support for public policy; administrative and legal mechanisms of management; interaction of law, governance, and management; institutional development and modernization of the public administration system.

Target Audience: The publication is intended for researchers, lecturers, practitioners, PhD students, undergraduates, and everyone interested in the current issues of public administration and law.
