TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTRONIC TEXTBOOKS IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM OF UKRAINE

Modern digital technologies are changing the worldview and influencing the widespread
introduction of various gadgets, which is the key to the rapid dissemination of information in digital form.
The ever-increasing rate of accumulation of information, including professional, leads to the fact that the
knowledge and skills provided to students in the first years of study, after graduation may be outdated. This
is especially true for those disciplines that are closely related to the use of digital technologies in
professional activities. For many disciplines, a textbook in the classical form, printed on paper, can no
longer be a complete source of relevant information. There is a need for textbooks that can be quickly edited
and supplemented. Electronic textbooks solve this problem. The creation of such learning tools allows you
to quickly change the educational content depending on the introduction of new technologies in various
areas of human life, especially in the field of digital technology.
The article analyzes the concept of "electronic textbook", highlights promising areas of development of
electronic textbooks with the transformation into a global online education system as a whole. The
classification of users of electronic textbooks according to the needs and types of perception of information
is offered. Promising is the possibility of creating a public collection of electronic textbooks with the ability
to comment on their content, use interactive content, work in the mode of editing and supplementing
information, turning the electronic textbook into a platform for communication between the author and
readers. Methods of working with electronic textbooks in the mode of shared access to the implementation
of shared rights for different types of users are proposed.
