DEVELOPMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY EDUCATIONAL PLATFORM FOR FOREIGNERS IN BLENDED EDUCATION

The active transition of higher educational institutions of Ukraine to blended education
activates the problem of creating appropriate educational and methodological support. Ukrainian education
resources don’t allow to create learning process for foreign students. There is a problem of a short residence
time of a foreigner in the Ukrainian-speaking environment. To solve the problems, a university educational
platform for teaching foreigners in a blended form of education (Platform for Blended Learning) was
created and tested. The university educational platform had basic elements and distinctive elements, the use
of which is due to the specifics of teaching disciplines (“Ukrainian as a foreign language”, “Physics”,
“Mathematics”, Information technology: “Operation system” , “Computer architecture”). Base elements
contain hardware and software. The unique elements Platform for Blended Learning are special hardware,
education content and own software. Education content is multimedia courses in distance education
platform Moodle. Describes own educational developments: application for automated text verification
"Electronic dictation", online survey system on smartphones, virtual laboratory simulation workshop on
physics, interactive "Physics problem solver ", application f'or accelerated test creation in learning
management system MOODLE. For the development of educational applications used: programming
languages Java, Python, C #; software - Spring, Hibernate, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, software
environments - Microsoft Virtual Studio, Radmin. There are elements of education platform. Teacher is
author and moderator of platform. The results of the pedagogical experiment show that the involvement of
the educational platform Platform for Вlended Learning in the educational process increases the motivation
of foreigners to learn the Ukrainian language and increases their time in the Ukrainian-speaking
environment. Further research is needed on the development and use of multimedia formats such as
educational computer games for students' self-education.
