Abstract

The article is devoted to distance education development in Russian Federation; the Russian researches’
approaches according to definition, peculiarities, advantages and disadvantages, principles of distance learning are
presented. It is concluded that the implementation of Russian experience of informational and communicational
technologies using and its adaptation for the Ukrainian conditions, will provide significant development of the distance
education in our country.
