Authors

Abstract

The article deals with the theoretical basis of the process of formulating health saving priorities of college students oriented on professional diligence. The success of this process depends on the prevailing social priorities and value orientations appearing as mechanisms for regulating social behavior. Therefore, we tend to believe that in turn of intensive personal developing of college students a special role of orientation to healthy livelihoods should be played. The contradiction has arisen in the fact that the proved socio-cultural guidelines must be substantiated in social practice through the cultivation of a healthy lifestyle during the ontogenetic development of an individual. And, as teaching practice shows, the educational work of higher educational institutions contains a peculiar cognitive-behavioral dissonance, that is the sufficient knowledge of students is not consistent with the high level of activity in terms of mastering the skills of a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, the problem of healthcare-saving priorities of college students, who are closely linked to professional perspectives and career advances, is arisen. However, we did not find students who would link their own career growth with the personal lifestyle. Nevertheless, modern social conditions intensify those psychological mechanisms of college students` professional self-determination, which are conditioned by the internal need to be competitive in the labor market. The system model of organizing activities for the developing healthy lifestyles is a combination of information block and practical tools. In this regard, effective can be the coordinated work of social and psychological support centers with the college students.
