USE OF DIFFERENTIATED TASKS IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING STUDENTS TO DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE SEWING PRODUCTS

The usage of differentiated tasks in the process of teaching students the design and production of garments The literary works of researchers, methodologists and practical pedagogues were analyzed on the issue of individualization, usage of differential problems in the educational process, particularly on the lessons of labor training. Having analyzed the peculiarities of teaching the students the design and manufacture of garments, a number of inconsistencies influencing the efficiency of the results of senior students’ studying were revealed. A questionnaire survey of teachers and labor training and technology was held and a number of negative points) of their work were identified. The expediency of using differentiated tasks in teaching students the design and production of garments in terms of technological profile was proved. The content of the curriculum for profile education students in general educational schools with specialization «Sewing education» was analyzed. According to the peculiarities of the senior students’ activities on the lessons of labor training the usage of tasks of various types and levels was proposed. Depending on students’ learning opportunities and creative abilities the tasks on recognition, classification, ordering, tasksubstitution, puzzles, unusual and creative tasks that require non-standard approach to solve them were introduced. The examples of tasks and the propositions of their usage in the process of teaching students the design and production of garments in terms of technological profile were given.
