Pedagogical features and a technical implementation of the teaching scenario in the environment of Moodle

Questions of the organization of teaching in the higher education institution based on the use of pedagogical
scenarios are considered in the article. Having defined the interpretation of this concept, the author identifies the components of the
scenario and describes the main models of the implementation – linear and branching. The algorithms of the main models of teaching
scenarios are presented in the work. The study of LMS Moodle features testified that its elements fit enough to implement considered
models of pedagogical scenarios. Practice has shown that the use of various elements of learning management system and possibilities
of their adjustment allows realizing a rather complex model of teaching that focuses on the corresponding result. In the process of its
implementation the lecturer should follow the rules formulated by the author. Pedagogical aspects of the use of teaching scenarios in a
higher education institution are provided by the author with the help of examples of case studies and are argued on the basis of the
principles of teaching in a higher education institution. Finally, the prospects for further researches in this field have been formulated
