Abstract

The author grounds the essence of binary concept «pedagogical barrier». On the one hand, this term is seen as a
complex pedagogical phenomenon that interferes, holds back and reduces the efficiency and success of the educational
process, and, therefore, requires prevention. On the other hand, it is a pedagogical tool that stimulates and increases the
effectiveness of the educational process of participants’ activity through its overcoming. The author shows that the formation
of the competence of future teachers in preventing and overcoming barriers is provided by the substantiation, development
and implementation of the system, which is characterized by interdependent relationships between its elements. Taking into
consideration the binary nature of pedagogical barriers, the author suggests two strategies: the strategy of overcoming and
the strategy of preventing of pedagogical barriers. These strategies are provided by a set of tactics (forecasting, promotion,
conduct, support, autotraining, co-operation, stimulation and developing tactic).
