Paper is devoted to improving the quality of instrumental performance training of future music teachers. The views
of leading foreign and domestic scholars on the issue of intellectual development, its features revealed in the process of
training of music teachers. Emphasizes the need to enhance the intellectual and creative potential in the learning process
based on the acquisition of knowledge and creative activity.
