SOCIO-ECONOMIC CONDITIONS OF DEVELOPMENT OF NON-FORMAL ADULT EDUCATION

The article presents the summarized results of the implemented theoretical stage of the
study, during which the modern socio-economic conditions for the realization of informal education of
adults were analyzed and the problems of further research were identified.
The system approach allowed to recognize the need for a multi-level justification of the existing
socio-economic conditions, their influence on the development of adult non-formal education: the megalevel (level of global or world economy), macro level (level of the country), meso-level (level of industries,
regions), micro level (level of enterprises, institutions), the nanoscale (the level of an individual).
An analysis of the current socio-economic conditions of different levels has made it possible to
identify the priority socio-economic conditions for the development of informal education as a mobile,
operational and effective form of adult education, which provides a personally, professionally and socially
meaningful result. Among them are: globalization and the expansion of educational and cultural ties
between countries; informatization and digitalization, formation of a society of knowledge and high
technologies; internationalization and integration; sustainable spatial development that provides for just
social development, sustainable economic growth and employment, effective governance, environmental
balance and sustainability; unification and standardization; demographic changes, extension of the target
audience of non-formal education; a rapid change in the profession market, the liberation of a large number
of labor resources, a high level of emigration flows of intellectual and physical labor resources;
universalization of key skills of professionals, etc.
