The article suggests some basic ways of improving operative pedagogical practice for pedagogical university
students promoting professional development of the future mathematics teachers taking into account the current trends in
the development of school education. The peculiarity of setting the mathematics class objective and determining the expected
results under the active approach are considered. The feasibility of interactive and information training technology testing
is specified. The article states the importance of effective organization and conducting students’ extracurricular activities.
