The article deals with the conception «vocal hearing» and the methods of its development with students at the classes
of voice training are proposed. Vocal hearing is the special type of ear for music which combines timbre, dynamic and
rhythmic ear for music and mechanism of formation of a voice. Methods and ways of development of vocal hearing can’t
exist and be used separately; they work in a set with other methods of vocal education. The main aim of professor is to teach
the student not only to listen, but also to hear the voice, to distinguish its timbre, power, intonation, vocal position, diction
and articulation.
