CRITERIONS AND INDICATORS OF READINESS OF FUTURE TEACHERS OF MATHEMATICS TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE INTELLECTUAL CULTURE OF PUPILS

The article elucidates the content of the concept of «the readiness of future teachers of
mathematics to the development of the intellectual culture of secondary school pupils»; presents the
structure of the readiness of future teachers of mathematics to the development the mentioned culture of
secondary school pupils (motivational, theoretical, practical readiness); determines the criterions
(motivational-value, evaluation-reflexive, cognitive, activity, intellectual-creative) and indicators of the
readiness of future teachers of mathematics to the development of the intellectual culture of pupils, on the
basis of which determines levels of readiness of future teachers of mathematics to the realization of the
mentioned process in the secondary school: low, satisfactory, sufficient, high. The content and structure of
the concept "readiness of future teachers of mathematics for the development of intellectual culture of
students" is elucidated in the paper; the criteria and indicators of readiness of future mathematics teachers
for the development of students' intellectual culture are determined, on the basis of which the level of
readiness of future mathematics teachers for implementation of the mentioned process in is determined.
Prospects for further research are to highlight the results of experimental verification of the levels of
formation of the readiness of future mathematics teachers to develop the intellectual culture of student.
