Abstract

The article reveals the essence and content of the concept of «research project technologies», the
peculiarities of their use in the educational process of professional (vocational) education schools, namely: the
requirements for their application, the sequence of activities of the teacher and students in the process of
implementation of research project technology training and systems their joint actions at different stages of project
work. It was found out that the research project is an integrative didactic means of development, training and
upbringing, which allows producing and developing specific skills and designing skills: problem-setting, goal-setting,
planning, reflexion and self-analysis, presentation and self-presentation, as well as information seeking, practical
application of academic knowledge, self-study, research and creative activity. Also, the article emphasizes that the
technology of research design requires students to apply new knowledge, develops the ability to act and make
decisions on their own, involves the students' decision on concrete situations of overcoming difficulties, develops their
critical thinking and the desire for creativity and self-development, forms the desire and ability to study independently.
It is substantiated that such projects are prepared and defended within the limits of both general educational
subjects and professional ones. Their subjects are mainly related to the issues that are studied in the course of study
subjects, as well as devoted to some events occurring in the country, and specifically in of professional (vocational)
education schools. The sequence of the main stages of work on the research project has been determined. The result of
this work is often presented by students in the form of computer multimedia presentations, they have significant
advantages: they are more spectacular, informative, cause interest to listeners to the proposed topic.
