The article reveals the main stages of formation of teachers' readiness for artistic innovation
activity. Characterized groups of methods that ensure the successful formation of this phenomenon. The problem of
forming the readiness of future music teachers for artistic innovation in accordance with modern requirements has not
yet been studied. This is due to many factors, among which particular attention is paid to certain contradictions that
require solving: on the one hand, state requirements and needs of society in improving the quality of training of future
teachers, ensuring their scientific methods of acquiring knowledge, skills of constant self-education, on the other hand
– unsatisfactory state of development of teaching and learning of musical and pedagogical innovations, which are
almost not used in high school pedagogical practice; in the content of educational pedagogical courses of studentsmusicians there is not introduced the familiarity with the new branch of pedagogy – pedagogical innovation, the
methods of development of students' need for self-improvement of modern (innovative level), the desire to find new,
original ways of encouraging children to musical art and the need for creatively solving" study tasks; There is no modern technical support, including computer technologies and multimedia music programs. Mastering the future
teacher of music in pedagogical skills in relation to the European requirements of higher education involves expanding
the range of types of his professional activities that he must master during his studies at the university. The structure of
this pedagogical complex includes interconnected and interconnected related professions, which must be represented
by a music teacher: Didact, Methodist, psychologist, musician-teacher, musician-performer, educator-mentor.
