FORMATION OF RESEARCH SKILLS OF STUDENTS IN THE CLASS OF CHORAL CONDUCTING

The article outlines the range of current issues of professional training of students in the field of
music and pedagogical activity, the professional direction of special subjects in the educational process of art faculties
of pedagogical universities on the basis of strengthening interdisciplinary connections, ensuring the professional development of the student's personality, disclosure of his individual abilities, awareness of the value attitude to the
chosen profession. The article deals with the issues of organization of scientific and research activities of students,
which is an important factor in the training of highly skilled specialists.
It is stated that research activity is an effective means of objective manifestation of gifted student youth,
realization of their creative abilities, stimulation of the need for creative knowledge acquisition, activating educational
and cognitive activity; promotes the profound absorption of special educational disciplines by students, allows to fully
identify their individuality. The educational process at the arts faculties of higher pedagogical educational institutions
should include a synthesis of research and creative work for developing students' analytical thinking skills and a
creative approach to problem solving. It is in the process of studying at the art faculties of pedagogical universities that
young people purposefully develop their skills of independent creative work during the writing of the analysis of choral
works and during the execution of other scientific works. The purpose of the article is the authors of the youth training
for its practical work as a teacher-specialist, knowledgeable in all the intricacies of musical-educational work.
