Abstract

The article shows that nowadays the successful preparation of future teachers of mathematics
and physics requires designing and implementing innovative methods and technologies in the field of management
and training and should take place at the level of a university, department, and teaching faculty. It is through the
introduction of innovative technologies that the modern educational space is actively formed as an open, holistic and
dynamic subsystem of social space in which educational activities are conducted and the formation of a personality as
well as the acquisition of basic and professional competencies take place. Among the innovations considered, the
authors give priority to technology based on problem-based learning: project method, research method, modular and
distance learning, the dialogue form of innovation, immersion. Particular attention is paid to the introduction of
innovations into the traditional forms of teaching in the educational environment: lectures, recitations, and laboratory
classes.
Students in the Mathematics major are able to study using the educational environment of the website
www.kovtonyuk.inf.ua, created on the basis of an e-textbook on mathematical analysis and differential equations. The
availability of the e-textbook gives the opportunity to optimize the educational process as much as possible,
substantially expand its capabilities, provides a problem-based, individually differentiated approach and
programmability of learning, opens up the opportunity to conduct lectures and practical classes on a problem basis,
stimulates active independent research and educational activities of students, removes emotional stress during
students’ preparation for tests and exams. Currently, the number of monthly visits to the website is about 3,000
(38.75% - United States, 20.82% - Poland, 8.24% - Ukraine, 7.8% - Germany).
