FUNCTIONS OF THE FUTURE COMPETITIVE PROMOTION SPECIALIST OF MUNICIPAL ECONOMY

Abstract

The aim of the article is to define and characterize the functions of the future competitive
professional, which represent a core component for the professional training of in the field of municipal economy.
Pedagogical experience on the problem of knowledge, skills, and competences of the economist has been studied (I.
Zinov'yev); the analysis of educational and professional program of the Master’s degree professional training has been
done (Economy and enterprise). The demands to the knowledge, skills and competences of the future municipal
economy professional that are described in the curricula of the normative disciplines have been thoroughly studied. On
the ground of the work done we have defined and characterized the following functions of the future competitive
professional of the municipal economy: analytical and forecasting, identifying, forming, administrative and evaluative.
In the article, a conclusion has been made that the functions of the future competitive professional of the municipal
economy identified and characterized as the result of the research reflect the learning outcomes. This proves the fact
that the findings correspond to the new methodology and new paradigm of education, as the key concepts of the
European educational system are learning outcomes and competences.
