Abstract

The article focuses on the changes in the organization of the practical training of student teachers at Universities
in Sweden, which were the result of the latest teacher education reform implemented in 2001. The author touches the
problem of transformation of traditional practical training into pre-school placed education which resulted in the
integration of the theoretical and practical training as field-based education takes place throughout the course of the
studies.
