TEST CONTROL OF KNOWLEDGE AS AN EFFECTIVE MEANS OF ACTIVATING EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES DURING STUDY OF PHYSICS

Abstract

The article examines the test control of knowledge as an effective means of activating students'
educational activity during the study of physics. Qualitatively organized process of test control of student achievements
facilitates the timely detection of gaps in their professional training, and thus contributes to the optimization of the
educational process and, accordingly, the intensification of their educational activities.Evaluation of educational
outcomes is an important means of stimulating students' learning activities. As practice shows, attempts to exclude
controlling the student's activity completely or partly from the educational process lead to a decrease in the quality of
education. Therefore, the functions of pedagogical assessment are not limited to identifying the disadvantages of
organizing the educational process, and are considered as its critical analysis, conducted to improve learning outcomes
and improve the quality of education.
