Abstract

The purpose if this article is to develop a concept of professional development of future teachers of
physical training and sports. This conception is based on basic scientific provisions of pedagogic and psychology,
patterns and principles of educational process in the field of physical culture and sports, that on the methodological,
theoretical and methodical levels determine conceptual fundamentals of improving of pedagogical system of
professional development of future teachers of physical training and sports in higher educational institutions, their
motivational development, forming of their professional competence and fundamentals of pedagogical excellence. The
essence of the conception lies in developing a system of professional training of students that would be adequate to
progressive tendencies of development of physical culture and sports and best practices of pedagogical education in
the world. The framework of the conception is humanization of education and democratizing of educational process
management, competence approach, principles of creativity and innovational development etc. The proposed concept
is a framework for planning and organization of events that are needed to improve professional training system in
higher educational institutions in the field of physical culture and sports, it puts forward the idea of improving the
training effectiveness of teachers of physical culture and sports by the means of developing innovative educational
surrounding in the higher educational institutions in the field of physical training and sports, that would ensure high
quality training for graduates in their professional pedagogical activity.
