PSYCHOLOGICAL BASIS OF THE FORMATION OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE IN THE FUTURE HISTORY AND LAW TEACHERS

The psychological principles of formation of foreign language communicative competence among
future teachers of History and Law have been described in the article. A review of the works of scientists involved in
this issue was made. The basic psychological reasons which can cause difficulties during studying of foreign languages
were analyzed and the ways of how to get rid of these negative factors were enumerated. The basic methods of
teaching foreign languages and creation of positive atmosphere for the formation of foreign language communication skills among specialists of this sphere were listed. It was researched that communicative competence is the purpose
and result of teaching a foreign language which is achieved only with the help of the developed linguistic competence
and high motivation of students. The conclusion was made that the psychological conditions for the formation of
foreign language competence among future teachers of History and Law are based on the level of development of
cognitive processes, emotional-volitional sphere, motivation, personal qualities, etc.
