Abstract

The article deals with the theoretical problems of aesthetic education in institutions of higher education. The tasks of aesthetic education and the tasks of educational institutions regarding the formation of students' aesthetic attitude to reality are highlighted. The components of aesthetic culture are described. The factors of the aesthetic educational process of young people have been determined. Aesthetic education in higher education institutions contributes to the increase of students' self-awareness, the formation of their active social position based on humanistic values. The role of aesthetic education of students in modern socio-cultural conditions characterized by significant economic, ecological and ideological changes. An integrative approach to the organization of aesthetic education of students in higher education institutions is a significant methodological prerequisite for the harmonious development of the personality of the future specialist. In order to achieve a highly aesthetically developed student, it is necessary that the entire system of aesthetic education be unified and unite all academic disciplines, the entire social life of the student, where each subject, each type of activity contributes to the formation of the aesthetic culture of the student's personality. Aesthetic education in higher education institutions contributes to the activation of students' selfawareness, the formation of their active social position based on humanistic values; harmonizes the emotional and communicative sphere and reduces the acuteness of response to stressful situations, i.e. optimizes the student's behavior and expands his opportunities for communication in joint activities with the team. Aesthetic education plays a big role in raising a highly educated, cultural and moral person, provides a comprehensive approach to personality development, and this is manifested in his attitude to people, to work, to art and to life in general.
