THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF THE PRAXEOLOGICAL APPROACH

Abstract

The article highlights the issue of forming a system for assessing satisfaction with the quality of education from the point of view of the main consumers of educational services. The authors have formulated and highlighted specifics regarding the assessment of the quality of education from the standpoint of the state, employers, and students. The purpose of the article is to study the quality of training of students of higher education institutions on the basis of praxeology. The results of a questionnaire survey of graduates of the Vinnytsia State Padagogical University are given in the part of certain aspects of the quality assessment of the education obtained: the strengths of the higher education institution from the point of view of the graduates were identified, an assessment of the conformity of the structure of the educational programs in terms of training to the expectations of the graduates and an assessment of the quality of training by the respondents of specialized disciplines are given. The authors have systematized proposals of graduates on the organization and adjustment of the educational process in institutions of higher education. The main components that determine the quality of the graduate's and the employer's education have been determined. Employers are primarily interested in hiring young professionals with a high level of professional knowledge, capable of being responsible for the results of their professional activities, solving non-standard tasks and navigating production issues. The article defines generalized criteria for evaluating the quality of education from the point of view not only of graduates, but also of teachers and employers. A promising direction in the work of institutions of higher education should be the expansion of forms of participation of employers in the implementation of educational programs and activities of institutions of higher education. Recommendations for the development of the education quality assessment system were formulated, and promising areas of activity of higher education institutions in the field of training competitive specialists and cooperation were proposed.
