Abstract

In school mathematics since the fifth grade, the students had to solve the problem of the interest. Applied value of
this topic As for the financial, economic, demographic and other areas of our lives. Therefore, the ability to perform interest
calculations necessary. In connection with a possible transition to a twelve-year secondary school education period students
will be able to more detailed study of mathematical objects. This also applies to interest, namely the compound interest.
In this publication, the possible perspectives of studying the theme «Compound interest» in school mathematics, and
