FORMATION OF GAME COMPETENCE OF FUTURE TEACHERS

Abstract

The article is devoted to questions about professional training for future teachers, in particular, the

formation of their game competence, as one of the components of professional competence, in the study of general-
professional and psychological and pedagogical disciplines. The article examines the concept of “professional-gaming

competence” as a result of teacher training for the use of game technologies in their future professional activities. The
preparation of students for the use of game technologies is considered as a process of formation of the pedagogical
university graduates of the system of psychological and pedagogical, methodological, as well as interdisciplinary
knowledge, the development of general and special skills, attainments, competencies, modes of activity, the formation
of their value relation to different games, accumulation and enriching the subjective personal experience of using
game technologies. Under the formation of the teacher's professional-gaming competence, we understand the
presence of his ability to organize the game activities of students, competently select it, analyze the creative and
educational potential of the game process. Therefore, in the system of training future teachers must be provided with
requirements for a high level of ownership of the game, due to the specifics of the object of his professional activities.
