Abstract

Scientific and methodical approaches to the development of vocational education and training in European countries, as well as the basic principles of the modernization of vocational education are shown in the article. Directions of increase of efficiency of activity of the VET by forming of the new system of relations in area of skilled workers training between state and local governments, businesses, employers and employment services are offered.
