THE ROLE OF DIGITAL LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES IN THE ERA OF CIVILIZATIONAL CHANGE

This article examines the problem of determining the role and implementation of digital learning technologies, identifies the problems of implementation of this process, set out its benefits for the modern development of society. The causes of emergence of digital technologies and their rapid development in the era of civilizational changes in all spheres of human life are substantiated. They include: the successes of the cognitive sciences; research into the technological approach to the management of the learning process, development in the 60s-70s of the twentieth century. XX century, and now a programmable learning - the forerunner of the digital; appearance industry personal computers, the most varied digital devices for their work equipment; business pressure: all products must be sold, and the education system - a non-exhaustive market for this; pandemic COVID-19, the transition in many cases to online learning.
The authors of this article concluded that in the last ten years the European educational system is more and more focused on the construction of knowledge through information processing. Thanks to mobile technology and the Internet, digital technology is transforming education from a "lecture" into a "dialogue" between teacher, student and pupil. Education is going from knowledge acquisition to its production, from authoritarian nature of the educational process to cooperation, from the lecture format to the discussion of the semester, and increasing of the advisory component in education.
